Meet Your Mediator
Lars Johnson has become a go-to mediator in high-stakes personal injury litigation, frequently retained by leading lawyers in California to mediate difficult and complex cases. He regularly works on matters involving seven and eight-figure demands, multiple parties, and multiple layers of insurance.
Mr. Johnson grew up in the San Fernando Valley, the son of a trial lawyer. He attended Georgetown University before returning to Los Angeles to attend law school at Loyola Law School. After graduation, he served in the trial and appellate divisions of the United States Navy JAG Corps.
In 2008, Mr. Johnson joined the highly regarded plaintiffs firm of Grassini & Wrinkle, where he established himself as one of California's top young trial lawyers. He won more than $70 million in first-chair trial verdicts, became one of the youngest members ever admitted to the Los Angeles chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and was a three-time finalist for CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year.
In 2018, Mr. Johnson left a thriving trial practice to become a full-time mediator. Since then, he has mediated more than 1,500 litigated cases throughout California. Attorneys on both sides appreciate his subject-matter expertise, preparation, credibility, and determination.
Ridgeway Resolution was built around a practical belief: successful mediation requires preparation, clear communication, and persistent follow-through before, during, and after the mediation session.
